Hi, my name's Elizabeth Vick. I'm a first year and from here in San Antonio, Texas. I'm also currently undeclared in terms of a major. I love to dance and went to a high school specifically for dance. I work part-time at my dance studio teaching ballet and tap to the "babies" and some of the other younger levels. I also like to read, run, and hang out with my friends, including my amazing roommate, who is also in this lovely 8:30 a.m class, and my suite mates. In any free time I have, I really enjoy watching cake shows, specifically cake decorating shows. My computer skills are somewhat lacking. I am proficient in Word, and I can muddle my way through Excel and PowerPoint, but I've don't have any experience with PhotoShop or creating web pages. I'm looking forward to expanding my knowledge. I love watching cake decorating shows, too. I was infatuated with Ace of Cakes over summer break. Now, if only I could make my own amazing and edible masterpieces.
ReplyDeleteHi Elizabeth! I used to dance as well (Ballet and Jazz). It's really cool that you get to teach younger children ballet! Like you, I don't have much experience with PhotoShop.

Hey Elizabeth, I really enjoyed reading your blog...we didn't get much of a chance to get to know each other last semester in GNED, but I hope this class changes that! I took ballet when I was a "baby," but chickened out when the recitals and performances started. I also love to watch cake decorating shows...it's amazing what they can do! I like to think that I am a good chef/baker, but in reality, my skills are nothing compared to the amazing people on those shows!
